CURRENT POSITIONS

Registered Maine Whitewater Guides:
Level 1 and 2 Maine Whitewater Guides license. Advanced First Aid skills a plus. Team player that enjoys working with people in the Maine outdoors. Appreciation for Maine’s natural resources and a desire to share that appreciation with others.

Bus Drivers and Transportation Staff:
Commercial CDL drivers license with Passenger endorsement. Good driving record. General maintenance skills. Ability to maintain and care for vehicles. Must be flexible, positive and have good people skills. Appreciation for Maine’s natural resources.

Customer Service Representatives and Reservationists:
Work with customers on the phone and Internet to provide information about our services, pricing and reservations. Good telephone, computer, sales and organizational skills. Ability to work independently to solve customer issues. Must be a team player and have a positive attitude.

Administrative Office Receptionist:
Good communication and human resource skills necessary. Computer, telephone and sales skills a must. Must be a decision maker and a team player.

Restaurant Cook:
Be part of a rapidly-growing restaurant that is a part of an expanding outdoor recreational complex. Required experience as a Restaurant Cook in a seasonal, or full-service restaurant. Should be able to put out a great product.

Housekeeping:
You can be part of our team that manages our lodging, main lodge and restaurant. Previous experience is helpful but not required. Must be a team player, good work ethic and have a positive attitude.

Videographers:
Experienced in shooting and editing video using Final Cut Pro. We use state of the art digital cameras, computers and software. Ability to kayak class 4 and 5 whitewater with equipment a plus.

Internships:
Internships are available in all aspects of North Country Rivers operations – outdoor recreation, program development, recreation and activities director, social marketing, videography, merchandising, restaurant and any other fields that relate to our operations.
