Penobscot River “Ultimate" Raft Trip
|
- Penobscot River “Full River" Trip – The most popular Penobscot river trip we offer. 12 miles and 6 hours on the river. Offered daily (June 6 – Oct 11). Technical class 4 river with some class 5 sections. Raft the lower section (more moderate) in the morning, raft the upper gorge (more challenging) in the afternoon. We raft every rapid on the Penobscot river and float by mile high Mt. Katahdin (Baxter State Park). Camping packages available at our Penobscot river base or through local lodging vendors.Minimum age is 14 years (includes all rapids).
- Penobscot River “Ultimate" Trip – This “High Octane" trip focuses on the most challenging rapids in the upper gorge, we raft the upper gorge of the Penobscot river two times and do not raft the lower section of the Penobscot. 10 miles and 5 hours on the river. Offered daily (June 6 – Oct 11). We do require 2 boats on weekdays (12-16 guests), 4 boats on weekends (24-32 guests), or join an existing trip. Camping and lodging packages available at our Penobscot river base or through local lodging vendors. Minimum age is 14 years.
- Penobscot River “Two-Day" Trip – Treat yourself to one of our best white water rafting trips. Raft the Penobscot “Full River" trip on day #1 and the Penobscot “Ultimate" on day #2. Each day begins and ends at our Penobscot river base. Camping packages available at our Penobscot river base or through local lodging vendors. Offered daily (June 6 – Oct 11). Minimum group size requirements for the Penobscot “Ultimate" or join an existing group. Minimum age is 14 years.
- 6 person sport raft add $20 per person; 4 person sport rafts add $30 per person. Sport Rafts must be booked in advance.
- Group discount – 1 free per 16 people (pay for 15 and the 16th is FREE).
