North Country Rivers 60-Acre Resort Campground Offers Great Maine Tent Camping Sites and Camping Services.
North Country Rivers has THE largest campground in northern Maine (right on The Kennebec River too). We also have plenty of room for outstanding tent sites. We offer various-sized tent sites too; for camping alone, or with a larger group. Just let us know the size of your party when you register and we'll help you pick out a great spot to camp!
Tucked away in the trees at the south end of our sprawling complex, all you need to do is bring a tent, sleeping mats, pillows and a sleeping bag (or, in the summer, just some of your own blankets and a pillow), and you're "good to go". Each tent site also includes a large fire ring and a picnic table.
And, when you stay at our resort campground, you have full access to washrooms, private showers, in-house and local stores, indoor and outdoor recreation, a game room, and many other nearby local sites for swimming site-seeing, walking, hiking, golf, shopping, movies, and even theatre!
and, even though we ARE located in the Maine woods, we're still less than a 30-minute drive from 2 of the larger towns in Maine - the perfect location. Also, our large main lodge (where you check-in), includes a restaurant and a pub, summer live entertainment, Wi-Fi access and is a hub of activity.
